General Information
_Domestic Connections Agency places qualified professional household
domestics: Nannies, Housekeeper, Companions, Cooks, Drivers, Household Managers, Estate Managers and Domestic Couples.
These positions range from live/in to live/out, part-time to full-time, temporary to permanent
in the greater Los Angeles area and Southern California. We are very intent on making
sure that there is a perfect fit between you and the family who
is employing you. Therefore, we require that you have a trial
week before any decisions are made. Candidates will always be paid for
the time they work by the prospective employers. A contract for placement purposes is drawn one week after the trial period is over and/or once the employer and employee have agreed to enter into an employment agreement. At that time, we work with families and employees to devise a work agreement that is mutually-satisfying to all parties. We are also very careful to make sure
that you are matched with a good family. However, first and foremost all candidates must be qualified and meet our requirements for employment:
All candidates must be legal to work in this country, have 2-5 years of working experience in the capacity you seek, speak English fluently enough to communicate with a family, present written references that can be reached by telephone and finally agree to a full background check subject to hire.
Our goal at Domestic Connections is to put good families and candidates together creating a successful positive working relationship. The applicants do not pay a $25.00 registration fee to the agency and must attend a 3-hour Application Workshop; however, we must receive all the documents required in order to process your application before we begin our search.
