              Screening Process

              Picture
We begin screening our applicants by telephone explaining all of our requirements so that we do not waste anyone's time.
Here is what we initially ask our prospective applicants to have in place:
              • Ten year work history including names, addresses and phone numbers of employers as well as dates of employment, salary information, description of duties and reasons for termination as well as educational background.
              • Letters of reference for every job held and name and phone Number of at least one personal reference.
              • An agreement that the applicant will  allow us to do a complete background check subject to hire and be fingerprinted and registered with Trustline if they are working as a Nanny or Caregiver.
              • An agreement that they will provide us with all identification and proof of legality to work in this country (information that is required subject to hire).
              • An agreement that the candidate will have their CPR card renewed within 30 days of being hired if they do not have CPR or their card has expired.
All applicants begin the process by registering for our Application Workshop - a 3 hour Professional Development Class. All applicants must take an exam to see their level of experience. Although we would like to help everyone seeking employment, we are unable to do so based on our strict requirements and discerning methods. However, by taking our workshop, you will learn about our requirements and will be given the chance to obtain the necessary training required to be considered for job placement.

We ask each of our candidates to sign a Domestic Connections Applicant Agreement Form stipulating the conditions that must be followed by each applicant to receive our representation. We do our very best to make everyone aware of our expectations to qualify them as viable candidates for our clients.
